CoolSculpting Elite is an FDA Cleared Procedure
The procedure is FDA-approved for treating visible fat deposits in the abdomen, thigh, and flank area. The applicator can also be used to remove fat from back, bra, upper arm and under the buttocks (banana roll). However, the treatment is approved only for patients that have a BMI or Body Mass Index lower than 30. The BMI should be lower than 46.2 for patients looking to remove fat from the in submental and submandibular areas.
Number of Treatment Sessions Required
The optimal number of treatment sessions will differ among individuals. CoolSculpting Elite can offer expected results in 1 or 3 sessions. This will be assessed by your treatment provider during an in-person consultation.
Time Taken By CoolSculpting Elite Treatment
Duration of the treatment depends on the type and number of areas being treated. It also depends on the number of applicators being used. It takes two sessions of 45 minutes each to treat under the chin area if both applicators are being used simultaneously. On the abdomen, it will take anywhere from 35 – 45 minutes depending on the applicator size.
